Compile various statistical reports, including craft absenteeism, turnover rates, affirmative action evaluations, evaluation of apprentice utilization, etc. Participate in contract negotiations, pre-job conferences. Plan, recruit and hire union employees in accordance with workforce requirements. Issue written work assignment or determination ensuring all parties understand content and required implementation. Schedule grievance meetings in accordance with contractual timelines, assist with investigating, responding to and resolving grievances, and maintain accurate tracking and logging of grievances.
